Application Evaluations Concluded. 

Transnet has concluded the evaluation of applications received for sale of slots on the Container and Cape Corridor that was advertised on the 1st April 2022 and closed on the 31st August 2022.​

The application process for slot sales is now closed. 

Transnet will evaluate applications and inform successful applicants once the process is complete.

Application process for slots is now open!

The information pack for applications has been sent to pre-qualified Applicants from email address: GRP-TFR-SLOTSALES (TFR.SlotSales@transnet.net) on 30 June 2022. 

More information will be posted in the coming week!​

The Application Closing date for Pre-Qualified Applicants who have submitted their NDAs and Pre-Screening forms has been postponed to 31 August 2022.  Correspondence on next steps will be sent directly to Applicants.​

  • ​Pre_Screening forms and Non Disclosure Agreements has been extended to 22 April 2022.

Interested parties may now complete and sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement and Pre-Screening form. 

  • The Non Disclosure Agreement must be returned to TFR.SlotSales@Transnet.net by Monday 11 April 2022. 
  • Rolling Stock Specifications and further information on Training Requirements will be issued on 12 April 2022 to Prospective Applicants who have submitted signed Non-Disclosure Agreements. 
  • The completed and signed Pre-Screening forms must be submitted by 19 April 2022.
